These terms apply to use of the HallStride website and service unless a separate written agreement provides additional terms.
1. The service
HallStride provides digital hall-pass, live monitoring, pass-history, analytics, roster-management, staff-management, school-settings, substitute, account, and related school workflow features.
2. Authorized users
HallStride is intended for schools and authorized school personnel. Users must use only accounts and permissions assigned to them and must not attempt to access another user's account or information outside their authorized school role.
3. School responsibilities
Schools control the student and staff information maintained within their HallStride environment and designate which personnel are authorized to access the service. School administrators manage user roles, campus pass procedures, roster information, and other school-specific settings.
4. Appropriate use
Users may not use HallStride to interfere with the service, bypass access controls, probe for vulnerabilities without permission, upload malicious material, use another person's credentials, or use the system in a way that violates applicable law or school policy.
5. Student safety and supervision
HallStride supports school personnel by providing real-time information about student movement and digital hall-pass activity. The platform complements, rather than replaces, established campus supervision, emergency procedures, attendance practices, and the professional judgment of school personnel.
6. Availability and changes
HallStride may periodically update, improve, or modify the service and its features. Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, upgrades, infrastructure issues, or circumstances outside HallStride's reasonable control. HallStride works to maintain a reliable and accessible service for schools and users.
7. Privacy
Use of HallStride is also subject to the HallStride Privacy Policy. Additional information about platform protections is available on the Privacy & Security page.
8. Accounts and passwords
Users are responsible for protecting their login credentials and reporting suspected unauthorized access. Administrators should deactivate accounts that should no longer have access.
9. Intellectual property
The HallStride name, branding, website content, and software are provided for use with the service and may not be copied, resold, reverse engineered where prohibited, or represented as another product except as permitted by applicable law or written agreement.
10. Disclaimers and liability
HallStride is provided as a school workflow and student-movement management service. While HallStride works to provide a reliable, secure, and accurate platform, uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed at all times. To the extent permitted by applicable law, HallStride is not responsible for losses resulting from unauthorized use of user credentials, inaccurate information entered by users, failures of third-party infrastructure, or use of the service outside its intended purpose. Additional terms may be established through written agreements between HallStride and participating schools or districts.
